Well, daylight “SAVINGS” time (my ass) means that not only do I never arrive home until after dark post-work, but the sun also now officially never comes into our back yard/deck area. The pepper plants out there were sallow and yellow – although the amazingly productive cayennes are still amazingly producing pepper after pepper. So I pulled them out and threw in some mustard, dill and arugula seeds and set those pots out in the front garden. The small back fence-area garden is still producing greens, dill, pea shoots, radishes, lettuce, and mustard. The basil apparently needs more sunlight than that, though, and has mostly died.
